I don't know either creator's work, so I was wondering if anyone had experience with either mesh or with other meshes by the same creators.
I'm not familiar with either artist. The two look identical, so it's probably a matter of downloading them both and see which has the better UV map.

I only have minnana's mesh, which performs well(at least to this untrained eye), but I'm guessing it's probably mainly a matter of your personal aesthetics. Minanna's mesh has a flared leg and the other doesn't, whatever floats your boat!

Thanks for the heads up -- I thought Minanna's pant legs looked bigger, but couldn't be sure! I have her closed coat mesh, so I guess I'll stick with her open coat mesh.
Aha! A discrimator! To the best of my knowlege, the only time in all of human history that men wore flared pants was between about 1970 and 1975. If you're working a period piece from that era, then that would be appropriate. Otherwise straight-leg pants would make a lot more sense. :)

I don't know either's work, um, either.
FWIW, I agree with Greg on using a straight leg over a flared leg for men.
Yup. Flared pants have to rank near the top of the list of the most disastrous fashion failures in history.
I was working for the Boeing Commercial Airplane Company in Seattle back then. The hunt for straight-leg pants was a major topic of conversation in the engineering office. Then the Bon Marche got in a shipment of straight-leg pants, and the entire Boeing Company beat a path to their door!
Guys will tolerate, to a very small extent, changes in lapels and the width of ties. Beyond that, any fashion trend aimed at men is doomed to failure. Weird new looks are just not a guy thing.
