Stop Internet Crime
 

If you are a Sims artist whose intellectual property has been stolen and redistributed by criminals operating under a mask of Internet anonymity, you will be very interested in the announcement that I put on the Sun Sims front page.

This is welcome news indeed! It's nice to know somebody is there to help "the little guy" in what is becoming an increasing problem!

For sure. When I looked at the IC3 site, there was loads of advice about how to protect yourself from fraudulent merchants but nothing about intellectual property theft. In retrospect, that makes sense. You can do a lot to protect yourself from being swindled by someone trying to sell you a can opener on the net, but the solution to intellectual property crimes is to call the cops.

And they're the cops.

I like that opening I hate Internet Crime and am upset people do stuff like that
