Now you guys have ME thinking about building an outdoor kitchen. It would be just thing here in sunny southern Cal! My neighbors would whine about smoke from the grill but I can buy them off with steaks!

Crystal 10-09-2008 12:40 AM

Do it Bucky!! Then Jeff will get jealous and build one for us too!! :D

Greg 10-09-2008 12:09 PM

Have I ever told you about a fellow I knew in Las Vegas who had seven grills in his outdoor kitchen?

Crystal 10-09-2008 11:45 PM

No. What about the fellow you knew in Las Vegas who had seven grills in his outdoor kitchen? Or did you mean seven girls in his outdoor kitchen?

Greg 10-10-2008 01:54 AM

Oops. That was the whole story. Well, except maybe that he was a retired US Navy Command Master Chief and was the boss of the shop when I was running a little aerospace company in Las Vegas.

It was grills, not girls. He's quite the grillmeister.

Razamataz 10-15-2008 04:31 AM

Nothing Like a Mantinace Master Chief for running a shop! Long as he isn't to old school. They were known to be evil in thier humiliation tactics back in the 60's and 70's...

Greg 10-15-2008 11:18 AM

Yup, he was an excellent shop boss. I don't recall exactly how hold he is, but some time in the 60's or 70's he was busy being born; so although he was no dbout something of a tyrant at the time, the tyranny was directed at his mother rather than the swabs below decks. By the time I knew him, he was really quite a gentleman.

We had a lot of fun in those days. A couple of times he even brought a gas grill to work so we could cook stuff for lunchtime parties.

Razamataz 10-17-2008 12:04 AM

Yep been there done that, Sailors love good eats.....

Greg 10-17-2008 03:54 AM

I've heard that sailors eat better than any other branch of the service. Maybe that's because they can take big kitchens with them.

Razamataz 10-25-2008 12:11 AM

Actualy its because our cooks go to culinary school, Just think the Pres.. Uses navy Cooks!! White house duty as an E-1 would be cool. But I bet the security checks are a pain!

Reader 10-25-2008 02:11 AM

That's one more thing that makes me wish I had volunteered for the Navy before I went to college!

Reader 10-25-2008 05:18 PM

Greg, another request from the ladies. Can you make your "cult" sign into one of these yard signs?

Miros1 10-25-2008 09:33 PM

Meanwhile, my job is to stand next to Greg and whisper "Thou art human too." Keeps him from getting a swelled head!

Crystal 10-27-2008 11:10 PM

I can't say what I first thought on Sun Sims so I'll be good. What's that latin words for All Glory Is Fleeting?

Miros1 10-28-2008 12:55 AM

Sic Transit Gloria Mundi I do believe.

Crystal 10-28-2008 09:10 PM

Thats it!! Greg said he always wondered who that Gloria Mundi girl was!!

Miros1 10-28-2008 09:27 PM

Dunno, but she was apparently on an ailing subway...

Monica 10-29-2008 01:53 AM

Maybe she's a bus driver.

Miros1 10-29-2008 08:57 AM

from a city named Sic!

Coco 10-30-2008 01:22 AM

Maybe she's from Sic City instead of Sim City.
