This lot, as it stands, requires both University and Nightlife.
Filesize: 956787 bytes
Price: $195,233

No custom content.
No hacks.

In real life this would actually be a pair of semi detached 3 bedroom council houses. Council houses are the British and Irish equivalent of projects in the US. Although the neighborhood picture (bottom right) is similar to the rowhouses in many American cities, these units are semi-detached, with 2 units in a block.

If you want to use the lot as 2 houses, then I recommend Inge Jones Security System (formerly Aparments) originally available from http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pa...Apartments.htm

The above site no longer has the Security System, but it can still be obtained from http://www.nectere.net/smf/ just scroll down the page till you get to the "Simlogical Stuff" heading.

Both halves of the lot are fully furnished so the lot is priced at $195,233. Not exactly a starter lot. Naturally in real life the unfortunate tenants get to move in to an empty shell lacking everything apart from the bathroom and the kitchen sink, not even lightbulbs. Having said that, probably 90% of these houses are now in private ownership.

For those interested, this lot is actually based on the two houses on the left of this picture http://www.megalithicireland.com/Bal...en%20South.htm
I lived two houses to left of the picture, most of the time from 1988 to 1996.

I hadn't played any of these houses for a long time, and thought I'd try them out last night. The version I was playing had more trees, in two staggered rows between the house and the telescope and back tool shed area.

The conifers in particular seem to be prone to being struck by lightning, but the ivy also took a hit. In both cases there was a fire. Not sure how the fire department managed to arrive on the scene, nobody called them.

Just thought I'd mention this.
