Yes, there is a Characters folder in the F001 file.

I nuked the whole thing (Scorched Earth) after letting Desiderata Valley install, so I had to peek inside my zip file to remember...

(I wish AL would use the existing Townies as roommates instead of adding all the "Social Group" Sims! Any idea how many of those new Sims there are?)
