Okay, another silly question:

I packed up a bunch of lots from the game & opened/un-checked/re-saved/installed-them-in-my-Downloads-folder with the Clean Installer & notice that the files are not "package" (no SimPE logo) files but someother type. (2 were generated for each lot, a SIMS2TEMP & a SIMS2IMPORT file. )

In other words, the files I just installed look nothing like what's in the Maxis Lot folder.

Have I screwed up or are these "new" lots not supposed to be regulaur package files? How do I make them into normal packages?
