Installed expansions Uni, NL, OFB, Holiday Pack and FFS. Patched with the June 16th 2006 patch.
The garage door, driveway, driveway extension, exterior walls and interior wooden floors all require Nightlife.
You must have TS2, Uni, NL, OFB, Holiday Pack and FFS installed to use the main download. I also recommend the June 16th 2006 patches.

Lot size: 6 x 5
No custom content.
No hacks.
There is now a TS2 and NL version of this lot. This version was made in a game with only TS2 and NL installed. There are some fairly minor differences, the main one being that the driveway on the extreme right had to be replaced with a driveway extension. It's a little cheaper, but not enough to avoid money cheats. Zipfile size: 1316071 bytes.
This building was originally inspired by the plans at

I've tried to capture the character as best I could while modifying it from a 4 x 3 bed to and 8 x 2 bed Multi-Plex.

If you want to use the lot as 8 apartments you could get away with MyneDoors and the Antipedestrian Garage Door from dolphin26 at

If you want to be able to put more than one sim in any one unit, then I recommend Inge Jones Security System (formerly Apartments) these days available from
http://www.nectere.net/smf/. Scroll down the page and click on
"Simlogical Stuff" then
"Sims 2" then
"The Simlogical Security and Dresscode system". I can't deep link as they use session IDs. The site was quite slow when I last checked it, so be patient.
Update: security system now available from
Simlogical again!
The lot is unfurnished and only contains cheapo plumbing, lights and kitchen cabinets. Yes, I removed almost everything you see in the pictures, even the exterior lights and that silly little restaurant in the basement (do with that as you will).
Even so, it comes in at an hefty $202,673 so it may be only for more established sims, you know, the ones that have been motherloded or alternatively you could use
familyFunds [familyName] [value] to set the amount of funds, or Use
familyFunds [familyName] [+/-][value] to add/subtract from current funds.
