XP issues
OK finally decided to make the jump to XP. Not that I want to but have to for business reasons... (I have been contentedly running W2K and Linux dual boot).
Questions: Will it work ok with Sims 2 AND Sims 1? and all the side-programs that go with them? I really don't want to lose my games yet again. And recommendations? My son recently installed XP and it took him 3 whole days to get the graphics drivers to work on his expensive but dated card... Finally did it and then put another hard drive in and decided to leave that one all as Linux rather than repeat the whole XP process yet again. Learning from experience? |

I have never run either game on anything but XP (or Vista) so I wouldn't expect that you will have any problems; but I'd definitely recommend checking for updated drivers for your graphics card.

Sims 2 is fine under XP. My friend Tori said she had set the short cut for Sim 1 to run in Win98 mode under XP, instead of whatever the default behavior was.
