Stuck penguin -- new one on me!
I have a penguin on my lot one square away from the end of the sidewalk. There is one full square between the penguin and the property line. Walkbys still happen normally.
This penguin has been there for multiple Simdays, cannot be interacted with (although interactions appear in the menu and the Sim's queue, they just vanish after the Sim stands there for a while), cannot be deleted with move_objects, and cannot be nuked with JMP's nuke box (hangs the whole computer, fortunately I saved before trying this). Anyone got any other suggestions? |

Maybe blanket the area around it with nuke boxes. The bird you see might not be in the square you see it on.
What is the symptom of not being able to delete it with move_objects on? Can you select it and move it around?

Well, after having to powercycle-reboot because the nuke box hung the game so bad, I don't want to try that again!
No, the bird would not move nor delete with move_objects on. Someone on InTeen told me to force an error on it with testingcheats on, then delete it from the dialog, and that worked! |

Does the Force Error... option of the Lot Debugger do the same thing as using the testingcheats menu?

That forces errors on every single object (including Sims) on the lot and you still need to have testingcheats turned on to get the dialog to forceably delete the problem objects. I tried it once. It was hell! That's why I was stupidly asking how to force an error on just one thing on the InTeen boards...

Yeah, you don't want to use the Force Error option on the Lot Debugger, ever. It can take hours to go through the error messages on every single object on the lot.

Good thing I asked here before I tried it!
