Default Ack! Many XMSims links lead nowhere!

Can anyone help? I really would prefer not to have to download everything on their site just to get five or six hair meshes. (though that's a possible, too, once I install my 360Gb SATA drive)

It looks like they rearranged their site so you're probably going to have to do just that.

The hairs are still named the same and in the same order, so you should be able to find them relatively easily IF you have the name/number of the hair as well.

Well, the original idea of the World Wide Web was that links would be stable, but I don't know of very many web sites that follow that philosophy.

And with the fragility of the WWW (from user (and corporate) sites going down permanently to sometimes massive failures of infrastructure (SQL.Slammer comes to mind)) it likely never will become a reality for any site, much less the entire Web, which is a pity.

Au contraire! I know of one site that has been around for more than 10 years and has never had a broken internal link nor orphaned a URL:

The Artemis Project
