Home schooling...
Apparently it is still possible, with some hacked objects from SimLogical!
A tutorial: http://www.freewebs.com/thelegacyvil...schooltute.htm Also covers boarding schools. Another tutorial, including an Orphanage: http://simlogical.com/slforum/index.php?topic=945.0

Oh, nice! I'd been using a homeschool hack from Inge but all it was was the flexi school from her controller and the little pencil you can buy to create the work. Problem with it was once Andromache and Hector got their grades up to A+, the grades never deteriorated, but this may have had something to do with the fact they were considered independent teens soon after their grades maxed out. Maybe there's some more goodies on here I can use to make it more realistic...
(Funny, at first I thought it was a thread about real homeschooling. Since I'm in charge of my little brother-in-law's homeschooling, I got even more excited at first!) |

I think we've had some threads on real homeschooling too. Liss homeschooled her daughter and recommended a series of books over on the old Hullabaloo.
