I mean it.

I just opened up my inbox & there, in living color, was an offer for a Sims Visa credit card!! (Apparently I can earn points toward my next EP purchase & other stuff at EA.)

I had wanted to attatch it to this post, but don't know how to make it into the right kind of image file to upload/attach (it's an email), so you will just have to take my word for it...& chech your inboxes!

The only bad news is that the rewards are paid in Simoleons.

They're going to put up special extra-buggy downloads on the Maxis site that you can download with your reward Simoleans.

Yeah, & when people demand a patch EA will claim it's Visa's responsibility & Visa will say it's EA's!

I also am betting there will be all sorts of "problems with Visa, can you help" threads popping up on the larger sites, as they seem to attract the...not-as-bright posters in higher quantity than these nice little sites!

Oh, that's OK, I already believe you. It falls right in line with EAs reputation as company, not to mention their employee relations.

All cynicism aside, I think it sounds like a pretty neat program. No annual fee is good!

The major problem that I have with it personally is the only blemish on my credit report is that I already have too many open credit accounts.

I have to confess that after my initial shock/laughter subsided, I starting thinking about it too (no anual fee is the only kind of card I will even consider) but I can't help but notice they are less-than-forthcomming as to exactly how much I need to charge to earn a "free" EP.

Something tells me I'm most likey ahead just to buy the bleeding thing out-right...though this may warrent further investigation!

(I treat all my cards like "charge cards" & pay them off every month, so...)
