I believe you can search the Ultimate Sims List for Sims 1 (or Sims 1 & 2) sites. Greg will happily correct me if I'm wrong. He'd also appreciate if you find dead links, add them to this thread so he can investigate and mark them as offline.

Off the top of my head, try Parsimonious (I think that's http:www.parsimonious.org), which also does Sim1 finds and Around the Sims (http://www.aroundthesims.com/). Send Kate and Sandy a nice note saying you're happy they still have Sims1 stuff online; it'll make their day!

One of my favorites was http://simsdeco.iquebec.com/ If you like the Point de diamonte kitchen set (orange wood and red countertops), I have matching appliances. Again, send Clivia a note saying thanks!

You can search the Ultimate Sims List for things like "the sims 1" but very few sites have the name of the game in their site descriptions. I suspect it would be easier to just randomly bounce around the list and see what's there.

I've a fair number of downloads for the Sims 1 (not sure where I got a lot of it; it's been a long time) but it's way too big to send anywhere easily. In addition, I'll need to find the things, though I think I know where they are . . . LOL

Exactly what I have, I don't remember, except that I do have a fair number of "useful" hacked objects. (like the cuckoo clock, special door and computer) Sure wish I could find some of the Sims 1 clothing; there's one pair of Sims I'd love to remake for Sims 2, but they require ranger clothing (think "Robin Hood" and you're close! LOL) to look right, and the clothing I need isn't (for some reason) in the Sims 2 Maxis collections. (AFAIK, the clothes I used for both were part of the game itself, not downloaded. Could be very wrong, though.

The cuckoo clock is from the Maxis site. Make that baby read-only, I had one go corrupt and cause my game to crash at 6 pm.

The Robin Hood outfit was also from the Maxis site, I think. I changed the mesh to the miniskirt because it just didn't look right on the one the creator suggested.

rdanner, I'll try to find it in my bulging Skins folder on the other puter and put it on a Sims 2 mesh.
