How much you've actually played that house might make a difference in load time too. I remember quite a few events at Jeannie's...

Yes, I have played with that lot quite a bit. For quite a time, it was my test bed for doing weird things; which, of course, is why I called it Jeannie Jump's Weird Things Test Facility.

Does a lot store up history from the number of folks who wander through?

Well, the inhabitants have memories of meeting them, so the lot packager has to make half functional copies of all of their acquaintences...

Oh my! That emphasizes a weakness is the way they programmed the lot exporting routine. If they wanted to include the feature of exporting an occupied lot, they should have pruned all memories of acquaintances outside the household.

There is one way to prune the memories and it keeps the lot inhabited. Move the lot to the lot bin. But, if you put the lot back in the neighborhood, you end up with no friends etc. I did it once accidently and it took forever to straighten out the family relationships. I don't recommend it.

If you're worried about losing all the items on the lot by a move out, the squinge's bush will let you move out and leave everything in place. The only things I found it doesn't work for are vehicles and the aspiration objects but those can be dropped in a Sim's inventory so you don't lose them.

I can just invite the current residents to move into another place, too; or use the Insimenator to relocate them. That should leave all their stuff in place.

I think Inge has a bush that leaves everything placed before the bush when the family moves out.

Rose, I think we might be talking about the same bush. I found it at the graveyard in squinge's mods.

BTW, Squinge is back at Insim.

You should see my dorm. Jarrington Hieghts. It sounds luxury, but it's not. It's where Jacob Neatreaux burned down Ye Olde Chapel in 1867, and now only souls reamain.....

duh duh duh!!!!
