Default My Sim's tootsies stick out of her sneakers! (Solution)

Yes, BlooM's sexyfeet (and Warlokk's default replacement versions of the XHi-Res) meshes cause problems with outfits with painted on footwear based on the Maxis swimwear and underwear meshes.

To fix 'em you need Marvine's Alpha Skirt with Flats mesh.

Create a BodyShop project based on this mesh, and one based on your "problem" clothes. I like to call the problem outfits "Donor" so I remember which one to delete when I'm done.

You should be able to simply copy the bitmap files from the "problem" outfit into the new outfit and import. If your outfit doesn't include a normal buffer, you should modify body~stdMatNormalMapTextureName.bmp to be solid 50% gray.

You should also check the body_alpha~stdMatBaseTextureName_alpha.bmp to be sure it's solid black. body_alpha~stdMatBaseTextureName.bmp should also be solid white and body_alpha~stdMatNormalMapTextureName.bmp solid 50% gray.

One potential problem involves the swimsuit with the extra flap in the front. For that outfit, you need to copy the extra bit at the right and paste it into the correct location in the Sim's cleavage, as well as whiting out the same area of the alpha bitmap.

Delete the "Donor" project when you're finished. You might as well keep the "Alpha Skirt with Flats" project, since you'll probably need it again!

I'm trying to visualize what's happening here. It sounds like you're using the texture from the recalcitrant outfit and the mesh from the alpha skirt, leaving the skirt invisible. That would mean that this would work on a skin-tight outfit but not for anything else.

Did I get that right?

That's right!

Currently the "problem children" outfits are workout clothes (and a few everyday) made on skintight swimsuit and underwear meshes, so this process is sufficient.

Hmm... in the message subject, did you mean "tootsies"?
