How to Crash the Game with the Insimenator

I think I finally found a consistent way to crash the game with the Insimenator: With an infant selected as the active sim and the DEST version of the Insimenator installed, click on a piece of terrain where you might use the "Spawn" function.

Kablooie! "The application has crashed and will now terminate."

Obviously, unless for some odd reason you really want to crash the game, don't do this!

For what it's worth: I'm running all the expansion packs up through Open For Business and all the stuff packs up through Glamor Life Stuff, and nothing published after that.

Ohmygoodness!

I've never heard of that little bug until now. I suppose on the "plus" side it's a relatively easy thing to avoid...unless of course somebody is desperate for some BFBVFS action!

(I'm hopping that the crashes didn't corrupt your Hoods at all! )

I don't think they did but not long after that, our air conditioner went out and the landlord won't get it fixed until Monday morning, so I haven't been in much of a mood for simming today.
